For those who like to have a tactile experience with their food, we’ve got some good news.
On Australia Day, in Hereford Prime Headquarters in the Big Telly precinct of Hyde Park, we will have Hereford Prime products on display for viewing and discussion. And once you’ve seen the beef, only a few metres away you’ll have the chance to taste it, straight from the BBQ.
Hereford Prime butcher Ian Parker will be on hand to answer any questions about Hereford Prime’s products and meat in general. This is a unique one-on-one opportunity to learn about the suitability of different cuts of beef for home cooking, including the Meat Standards Australia (MSA) grading system.
All Hereford Prime beef is eating quality guaranteed by MSA. With Woolworths now offering MSA-graded beef to its customers and the continuing adoption of the grading system in the retail sector, it is important that consumers have a grasp of the system and what it means for their purchasing and meal decisions.
